Accessibility

Rebuilding neighborhoods means leaving no one out — online and on the block.

Last updated June 19, 2026

Black Wall Street LLC is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Inclusion is at the heart of our mission, and that commitment extends to every person who visits us online.

Our Commitment

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic, well-structured HTML so screen readers can navigate the content
  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background
  • Clear, consistent navigation and a logical heading structure
  • Keyboard-accessible links, buttons, and form controls
  • Labeled form fields so they are understandable with assistive technology
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to different devices and zoom levels
  • Readable typography with comfortable line spacing

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time task. We review our website periodically and work to improve it as standards evolve and as we add new content. Some content from third parties — such as embedded maps or social media — may not be fully under our control, but we encourage those partners to maintain accessible experiences as well.
